Dallas (2017-04-20)
As we are not that far from Dallas, about 100 km, we leave
after breakfast for a tour in the city. We do the visit of the 6th
Floor Museum. The organization of this museum is not so good, the lines to buy
tickets and after to wait to get to the 6th floor (tickets have an
entry time) are confusing. Once you pass that stage, it gets much better.
L’audioguide
This part of downtown is interesting with old buildings and parks.
Unlike California, water does not seem to be an issue as many of the big
buildings have a fountain in front of it. We had a very good bbq lunch at Pecan
Lodge. It is east of downtown on Main, an area that is, like in many cities,
cleaning up and being revitalized.
